However, be sure to make a reservation as with most restaurants in Maui, cos tables get filled up quick and due to the pandemic , they are limiting amount of patrons in the restaurant. Road to Hana is usually a full day trip so be prepared to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride .

2.Bike down Haleakala early in the morning and experience the sunrise,then bike down the hill. Just make sure, to include this in your reservation early when you are planning to book the trip so you can get your ticket to enter the park.

3.If you decide to book your trip to Hana, also add exploring the Venus and Olivine pools in your bucket list.

4. We recommend Feast at Lele if you are a foodie, the price is somewhat on the high side but the service is worth it.Other restaurants to visit among others include Vana Paia at the Paia Inn and Mala Ocean Taver. What to Bring and what to Buy on your Trip

1.Outfits : Do not bring lot of options. The whole island is relaxed and you can wear flip flops to most of the restaurants. For the volcano tour, you will need a coat and possible a hat.
2. Buy : Costco is the best option boards, snorking, beach chairs. You will need those if you plan to visit beaches outside your lodging. Check with the concierge as well as many guest probably left some behind.

Buying Groceries – You can get groceries at Costco including wine and beer. Times supermarket is another good option around the island. Safeway is a little bit more expensive except the gas station that it is the cheapest in the island.

Where to stay on your Trip
The best areas to stay are Wailea or Kaanapali. Make sure to check if the accommodation has beach access.

Car Rental: you will need a car for all your stay or at least two days for the trip to Hana and the volcano. Keep it in your budget as car rentals are expensive.
